Burnaby Ice Breaker Tournament
Nov 9-12, 2007

Delta teams competed well at this annual season starter. A total of five Delta teams entered: Junior A, Tween A, Petite A, Petite B, and Petite C .

Tween A, Petite A, and Petite B were able to win gold while the Junior and Petite C team worked hard but were unable to prevail.

Of special note was a unique Delta contribution to the tournament related to Rememberance Day. On their Nov 11 game, the Junior team finished their game with Burnaby slightly early and the team recognized our soldiers with a musical tribute on the ice by playing Taps. Kudos to the girls and to the Burnaby team for particpating.
