March 23, 2003 - Delta players medal at Western Canadian Championships
Delta Ringette was well-represented in the medal round at the 2003 Western Canadian Ringette Championships held March 20-23 in Calgary. Katie Ross and Gabrielle Descouteaux were called to play on the Team BC Junior A team. Delta Tweens Danielle Strohan, Michelle Connal, and Caitlin Floer were members of the LMRL Tween AA Rage team coached by Delta's own Larry Strohan that won provincial playdowns and then set off for Calgary to compete in the Tween AA division. The BC teams fought close battles in the medal rounds and each team is proud to bring home the bronze medal.

March 30, 2003 - Delta Junior A Game televised
Delta Cablevision will be broadcasting a great exhibition game played March 16 featuring Delta's Junior A team in a heated battle with the LMRL Tween AA team. Tune in to Delta channel 4 at 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 30 to see this 3-period battle.

March 9, 2003 - Delta Wins Silver and Bronze at Provincial "A" Championships
Delta's Junior A team won the silver and the Tween A team brought home bronze from the Provincials "A" Championships held March 6-8 in Langley. Nov 30, 2002 - Canada wins World Championship Gold!
Canada won big at the World Championship Gold Medal game, wresting the crown of ringette back from Finland. The event was viewed live on CBC TV by over 144,000 Canadians on Saturday, November 30. Nov 30 - Dec 1, 2002 - Delta Ringette hosts the Bunny Jamboree
Delta Ringette's 9th annual Bunny Jamboree was a rip-roaring success. Bunny teams came from throughout the province to participate in the fun and frolic that has made this bunnies-only tournament an annual favourite.

Nov 11, 2002 - Delta Junior team wins gold at 2002 Burnaby Icebreaker
Delta's Junior ringette team did the home association proud by winning the Junior A division title in this highly competitive and well-attended season opener in Burnaby.

Sep 12, 2002 - Used Equipment Wanted
Delta Ringette is experiencing an significant increase in player registration for the 2002-2003 season. Many players are trying ringette for the first time and don't yet have the necessary equipment. Delta Ringette has nearly exhausted it's rental and loaner equipment pool and is looking for donations of surplus equipment in good condition for rental or redistribution to new players. If you have any good used equipment, particularily small sizes, that you would like to sell or donate to the association or a new player, or would like more information, please contact our Equipment Manager, Bert Gerwin, at 604-599-8094 or equipment@deltaringette.ca.
